How much do you know about the brand of paint you are using? If one of your customers had a reaction how would you contact the manufacture? Do you know where the paint you are using is being manufactured?

These are all questions every face and body painter should be asking themselves, our main brand we stock is Superstar face and body paint, this is a brand that has been about for over 50 years, although new to the UK through The Face Painting Shop.

Superstar paint is manufactured in Holland, as Holland is in the European Union they are regulated by strong health and saftey laws, giving every painter piece of mind.

We hold all Superstars details here at The Face Painting Shop, in the very unlikely event that any one should need to contact them due to reactions, they can be reached direct ASAP.

FAQ about Superstar Face and body paint

We get so many calls and emails on a daily basis asking us about Superstar paint, so we thought we would write a blog on the most frequently asked questions.

Is Superstar easy to use? Yes very easy, the paint is used the same as any other cake paint, with a mist of water from your spray bottle to use with a sponge, and water on your brush for line work.

Does it melt in the heat? Superstar holds up extremely well in the heat, we have road tested this paint as have other and have found that its one of the best paints on the market when it comes to not melting.

Where is Superstar made? Superstar paint and glitter are made in Holland, The Face Painting Shop are the official UK distributor.

Are FAB paint and Superstar the same? YES, Sillyfarm have there own lables for Superstar paint and have called it FAB, this is for the American market only, its known as Superstar every were else in the world.

Does it stain the skin? Superstar paint is very gentle on the skin and so far we have had no staining issues at all, although any professional face painter will know that some colours will stain more than others, always recommend to your clients that they should wash any face paint off before they go to bed.

Does The Face Painting Shop stock the full range of Superstar? YES we have the full range of all 74 colours in stock at all times, both in the 16g and 45g pots, we also have the full range of Superstar glitter in stock and also Superstar training heads.
